2015-2016: Res-Q
2015-2016 was the first season of Team 10355. We were originally created as the FTC Team of Boy Scout Troop 26, and we went by the name of Eagle Factory Robotics during that season.

The robot we built during this season was named after Lucien B. Maxwell, the original owner of Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He was a rugged mountaineer type who sported a magnificent mustache.
During the season, we didn’t have a field to practice on, so our robot ended up being pretty janky. Despite this, we were somehow able to qualify for State and we went on to do a fairly decent job there.
The header image of post26.org (and of this page) is a closeup of Lucien B Maxwell.

<Outreach>
During our first season, we didn’t participate in much outreach. We primarily displayed our robot at a few Boy Scout events in order to show off what we were doing.

2018-2019: Rover Ruckus
2018-2019 was the fourth year of 10355, and the 3rd year that we were called Project Peacock. The robot we built that year was incredibly unique, to say the least. We decided to name it “Mousetrap” because the incredibly high torque worm gears made a lot of squeaking sounds. We were also very competitive with our sister team, “ Mouse Spit,” but that is entirely unrelated. We did alright at State Championships, making it to the semi-finals as the first pick alliance partner to Bearbotics. Mouse Spit did end up going to the World Championships because they were the first pick on the winning alliance. Between State and Worlds, we had the Tulsa RR2 invitational, where we made it to finals with “The Midnight Ostrich Runners”, before getting beaten by “Root Negative One” and “Tech Hogs” by quite a bit. In conclusion, this was a very fun season, and we learned a lot from it.
